This Peak is the arrival and/or starting point of the famous "Traversata Tamaro-Lema".
Monte Lema is also reachable with a cable car which we sometimes use to go back down after the famous traverse hike coming from Monte Tamaro which is explained as route nr. 748 in the official guides of the CAS (Swiss Alpine Club) at page 498 of the 5th volume (Guida delle prealpi ticinesi) and shown on picture at pages 455 and 499.
The route is completely on easy mountain paths.
The top of the mountain gives a nice view of the Malcantone area of Ticino and of the italian prealps, I would even say that it's one of the best views in this region.
